I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
